“Event” Driven Success

Great events to attract new customers to vomFASS franchise locations don’t just happen.  Specialty events are carefully crafted by our small business owners to appeal to the sophisticated vomFASS customer and are expertly executed to insure each guest has a delightful and memorable time.  An important key to event success is a well-designed promotional campaign.  Social media plays a crucial role here in “getting the word out.”  The goodwill, comradery and product education from these events is priceless.

Chris Vetromile, owner of the Austin, Texas vomFASS is a wonderful cook who offers a gourmet catering service to his customers.  The picture shows how Chris’ attention to detail (notice the exquisitely laid table), product use and flair for entertaining keeps his store’s calendar full.

“Here at vomFASS Austin we love to host your private party.  We can accommodate almost any request you may have from a Scotch class and tasting to a wine and cheese night.  We also do dinner parties and cooking demonstrations.  Here we hosted a birthday party with a tutorial on how to poach salmon in our San Gimignano Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  No celebration is complete without live music, so we provided a great 3 person Austin band.”  Chris Vetromile

Party On In Madison!


Recently the Madison store held a Wine Premier Party.  Guests were invited to the premier of five new wines, exclusive to vomFASS, paired with exquisite light bites prepared by Chef Rafe.  The party was promoted through in-store handouts; sidewalk signage; Facebook posts; website event listing and most importantly, customer word of mouth.

“This was a very successful event.  Our promotion worked brilliantly and the event was sold out.  In fact, the next event was already planned, so we passed out information and 10 guests signed up right then and there for that event!”  Vicki Christianson, Madison Events Coordinator.

Standing Room Only Events In Claremont


Franchise Partners Kim Peeples and Denise Solis at vomFASS, Claremont, California are well-known for the cooking demonstrations they host.  The most recent event was sold out and the room was packed full of excitement and hungry folks awaiting Chef Charly’s fabulous recipes.  The first dish of the evening was a roasted heirloom beets and berries salad, with honey-avocado parfait utilizing vomFASS Agora Extra Virgin Olive Oil and vomFASS Honey Balsamic Star.

Chef Charly had everyone’s mouth watering as we watched him prepare grilled citrus salmon topped with vomFASS Calamansi Balsam.  The salmon was without a doubt the freshest and most delicious salmon we have ever tasted.   Not that Chef Charly needed anymore accolades at this point, but he had everyone raving over his decadent chocolate mousse topped with a madeleine soaked in vomFASS Cognac Napoleon.

“We simply could not put on such specular events without our talented Chef Charly:  Born in Strasbourg, France, Chef Charly grew up in Paris and graduated from the University of Vincennes. He quickly sharpened his culinary skills, gaining invaluable experience through a succession of international internships, from the prestigious Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris to the Westin in London and the Four Seasons in Singapore and Hong Kong.     He is currently planning to open a restaurant in neighboring La Verne, CA.”  Kim Peeples.
