Balsamic Whiskey Steak


How about cooking for that Vet tonight? This is a great steak recipe, when paired with a crispy salad and baked potato, it’s a yummy way to say “I’m proud of you.”



  1. In large sealable plastic bag, add vomFASS Platinum Balsamico Vinegar and vomFASS American Whiskey and mix gently.
  2. Season steak with vomFASS Salt & Pepper.
  3. Add steak, seal bag and marinate for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 450°.
  5. Remove steak from marinade and pat dry with paper towels. In large stainless steel skillet, brown on all sides in olive oil. Place steak, still in skillet, into oven and roast for 15 minutes at 450° for medium rare.
  6. Remove steak from oven and let rest, loosely tented in foil, for 15 minutes.
  7. Slice and serve.
