Tamra Kramer Launches ‘From the Cask’ Retail Experience Across the Region, Opening First Location as a Shop-in-Shop in Kowalski’s Market

WOODBURY, Minn. – vomFASS will make its debut in the Twin Cities with a shop-inshop at Kowalski’s Market in Woodbury, opening later this month, that will introduce area foodies to its premium cooking and wellness oils, vinegars and spices. Later this year, the first of several stand-alone retail vomFASS store will offer the full range of vomFASS Oils, Vinegars, Spices, Wine and Spirits to the Twin Cities.

One taste, and you will be hooked. Just ask Tamra Kramer, the entrepreneur bringing vomFASS to the Twin Cities. Promising an enlightening taste experience, vomFASS is an oil, vinegar, spices, spirits and wine retail concept. Every delicious product is ready for sampling “from the cask” [the English translation of the German term “vomFASS”]. The casks includes pyramids of wooden barrels, rows of sparkling glass balloons and attractive vinegar and oil crocks.

Kramer has signed a multi-unit agreement to open vomFASS shops in the south Twin Cities metro, the first of which will be a specialty vomFASS oils, vinegars and spices shop-in-shop inside Kowalski’s Market Woodbury (at 8505 Valley Creek Road in Woodbury, Minn.) opening late July 2013. The shop-in-shop will be a prime first location for discerning foodies to discover flavors that turn ordinary home-cooked meals and dinner parties into exceptional culinary creations. Kramer expects to open the first of four vomFASS standalone shops in the Twin Cities metro area in late 2013 in the 50th & France neighborhood.

Kramer’s commitment to developing multiple vomFASS shops comes after years of entrepreneurial yearnings while she was developing a successful career in marketing communications in large corporate environments. The opportunity to explore those yearnings came as a result of organizational changes in the large financial institution where she worked until early 2012. Kramer decided the time was right to begin controlling her own destiny.
